Get your family on the right track to have a successful school year!

The Frisco ISD Student and Parent Empowerment Program is open to all Frisco ISD students in grades K-12 and their parents.

The program is designed to combine interactive exercises, real-life experiences and open dialogue to enrich the lives of students and give parents a toolbox for helping their children navigate their school years and beyond.

The goal is to improve family relationships, build communication and help participants become better parents and students.

The program is held one Saturday a month from 9 a.m. to noon at the Student Opportunity Center, 6928 Maple Street in Frisco. Students and parents both participate in the program and grow and learn together.

The next meeting will be held on Saturday, November 14 for an interactive family team building workshop that will lead to the development of a family strategic plan for the 2015-16 school year. That work will continue during the next meeting on Saturday, December 12. See the flyer .

RSVPs are required. Please contact Dr. Larry Lewis at lewisl@friscoisd.org or 469.633.6703 if you plan to attend, or contact him for more information.
